TL-SG3428X poskytuje 24x 10/100/1000Mbit/s LAN portů. Navíc jsou k dispozici i čtyři 10G SFP+ sloty. Ke správě a monitoringu je možné využít běžný přístup přes webové rozhraní a protokoly např. CLI, SNMP, RMO, ale i centralizovaný cloud management a softwarový controler. Podporován je i hardwarový controller Omada (OC200/OC300).
